with Cliff Smyth and Deborah Bowes
From May to November 2009 Deborah and Cliff will offer their acclaimed Art of Practice program for newer practitioners.
This is a comprehensive mentorship program like no other, based on your needs as a learner. We begin with processes to help identify your needs and then design the curriculum to meet them.
Always included are ATM lessons from the Alexander Yanai materials and time to analyse them and discuss how they can be taught, adapted, understood and used in FI.
FI covers what you need: review of basic and advanced techniques. It includes all the aspects of successful professional practice, including talking with clients, progressing them through a series of lessons and engaging them in the learning process. We bring in whatever else you need to allow you to effectively work with clients, teach classes and talk about the Method.
The program includes six weekends of intensive study with the best teacher-student ratio you will probably ever experience (1 to 6).There is no waiting to have your questions answered in FI practice. You can learn directly from experiencing our touch. You can ask any question you like.
In addition, The Art of Practice offers you:
• an individual FI time of at least one and a half hours to use for any kind of FI practice and feedback you would like
• up to two days observation in our private practice
• negotiated feedback on your public ATM teaching (we either visit your class or we can work with a recording of your teaching)
• phone consultation during the program
• if you are interested, we offer a practitioner practicum
• study with a cohort – study groups from our earlier programs continue to meet to this day.
We have designed the continuing education program we would have liked to have taken!
