Repetitive Strain Injuries

I have been studying Repetitive Strain Injuries, also known as Repetitive Stress Injuries, for over 20 years. Starting with coming to understand my own injury and his own recovery proces, over the years I have a read a lot of literature on the topic and has worked with hundreds of individual clients and students dealing with these challenges. In 2004 I produced the Easy Hands and Arms program of audio Awareness Through Movement lessons.

You can read two articles on RSIs and the Feldenkrais Method written for the public on this site:

I hope these provide you with some ways of thinking and language about how RSIs and how Feldenkraiscan help people.

You can also download a .pdf of a handout I use when doing a presentation on RSIs, such as to RSI support groups, etc. It presents some of the key ideas about what people experinece with these kinds of injuries, ways they are described and explained in the medical and occupational health literature, what Feldenkrais has to offer and things I think every sufferer can benefit from. Mostly I use non-hierarchical diagrams to present this information.

Please respect my copyrights and acknowledge me as a source in any use of this material for teaching or referring to it in publications. I am happy to discuss these ideas - drop me a line via this website.
